The purpose of this letter is to inform you that Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, a new, privately operated, full-service hospital, opened on April 15th, 2025, on the St. Elizabeths East campus in Ward 8. As a result, United Medical Center permanently closed all services on that same day. This includes the closure of our Outpatient, Emergency, Inpatient, Medical, Surgical, Behavioral Health, Ancillary, and Support services.
Thank you for your patience during this time. It has been an honor to serve this community for over 50 years. Our doors may be closing, but we will be forever united in the spirit of service and wellness.
